This site is connected to Mark Driscoll’s church and ministry, which I talked about in yestereday’s book review. You can also find links to messages for church leaders there. I’ve listened to Death by Ministry, and it’s a very moving message. I highly reccomend it.
John Stott is one of the most influencial speakers and authors in the Evangelical wing of Christianity. I’ve read his stuff for years, and just yesterday finally found out that his messages are available for free on his church website!
Whooo Hooooo - I’ve already downloaded a bundle, and will go back for more when these are done!

This is a cool little program – and it’s free! Yes, they offer a version you can buy, but so far I haven’t needed it! You install it and then when you’d like to turn a Word or Publisher or just about any other type of file into a PDF, you simple select CuteWriter to be your printer!
Then it prints and creates that file as a PDF file on your desktop. Slick huh?
Fox News Anchor Lays the Smack Down!
One of the newer Fox News Anchor Julie Banderas really laid the smack down on Shirley Phelps-Roper last weekend.
Roper is a member of that phony “church” who demonstrates at Military funerals, saying God killed the dead service man or woman. Disgusting to say the least!
I’ve always like Julie, what’s not to like? Smart, articulate, and good looking to boot! But now I see she’s got some real guts and passion and apparently knows a thing or two about the Bible too.

If you are the right age then you just don’t remember Life Magazine, but you grew up on it. I can remember seeing it just about each week and getting much of my news from it, not to mention seeing the world through it’s pages.
Well now you can go back and check out all those old covers if you want too. Just a little nostalgia for the weekend for all you old folks out there!
