Comments(0) I’ve got a slightly shorter than usual edition of Short Rounds this time around. It’s been a short busy week, and I just didn’t find as much as I would have liked too. Sorry – but enjoy anyway!
Here’s a link to a brand new site that’s still under construction. It’s the ministry of Ahtapa Sinlee and his wife Leah. I consider Ahtapa one of the greatest men of God in Asia. I’ve worked with him at his place in Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand.
He runs a school/orphanage there to help educate young men and women in the Christian faith and to prepare them for a better life. They are all poor kids from the hill tribes, and they are amazing. During one short week there I fell in love with many of them!
The site doesn’t have much yet, but bookmark it and check it out from time to time. He’s a wonderful guy and deserves prayer and support.
No, I’m not a fan of Ms Couric, and I haven’t watched her news show either. I don’t intend to either, I get all my news from the Net and cable.
Still I found it interesting that CBS decided to have her adopt blogging as a way to help promote her and her show. Thought some of you might be interested.
Man of God Syndrome:
Here’s two links to different blogs. Both deal with a subject that has gotten my attention of late. I can’t explain why right now, but believe me, this whole one man leader thing has got to go if our churches are to stay healthy! Read and learn!
Some New Ways To Search:
Thanks to LaShawn Barber, who pointed out some cool new search sites. The big downside to these is that most of the links they show you are pay sites. You’ve got to subscribe or pay to see it.
Never-the-less some aren’t and it’s a cool way to do some research. Here’s two I check out and liked.
You can search anything you want, and Google has put some ideas for searches on the start page for you.
You can search just about any book, and if you find one you like can click links to buy it! Most books you can’t read online, but with some you can, check it out!
